Ah dear, those kind of perspective wont get you anywhere. You'll get stuck in your little comfort world, maybe for the rest of your life. And I'm not just talking about the wedding.
To have a perfect wedding might be one of every girl wishes for since they were just a pre-teen. In my case, I always dreamed about how spectacular my wedding's gonna be in green! Well, but sometimes, when you get older, there are billions things you find out more important than just one beautiful day. I didn't get the wedding of my dream, since we didn't save up so much for the receptions, but still I got me the great marriage life :mrgreen:
Unfortunately, most of Indonesian still thinks that the receptions should held as magnificent as possible. Not everyone get the thought that its just not the core of the wedding itself. As in my girl above case, her family want a very big wedding, but they just don't think that's something nice to give their share of the spending. Preparing a daughter's wedding fund is not a very common thing here in Indonesia.
