The Trilogy Time

Oh my, its been forever since I wrote in this blog :p I was gonna let this one abandoned anyway :lol: But then again, in order to smoothered my rusty English, gonna start practicing it here again :D

So, how have you been? Me? Well.. Kinda busy with this business I've been joining for almost 3 years now. Quit the announcing job for some reason. And busy being wife :p

Speaking of 3 years... Are you a fan of How I Met Your Mother? I'm such a HUGE fan! Started watching this series just last year, and been in love since :) I guess I'll always be a hopeless romantic.

It seems that I dont really tell you about the story or even the character, right? You know them... Ted, the same hopeless romantic as I am; Marshal and Lily, the cutest couple on TV; Robin the one who doesnt want to have kids; and of course Barney, the awesome and legendary man whore that we all love :D

I just watched their 21st episode from season 7 (if Im not mistaken), titled "The Trilogy Time". Its not the latest episode airer, it's the one before. Hm.. should I call a spoiler alert? See for your self :lol:

So the boys have this tradition of watching Star Wars trilogy in every three years. It started when Ted and Marshal was a colleger who love sandwich very much. I never watch Star Wars trilogy (please dont hate me), but what I love about this Trilogy time is that they always pictures what are they gonna be in three years from then.

Of course Marshal would picture himself as a guy with a very cool mustache every year, with pregnant Lily by her side. Ted, has always been dying for a marriage, picture himself as a husband with a loving wife everytime! Barney? Same old Barney. Same catch phrase, with a girl, and the last time, he kinda visualized that women should have been able to have a back boobs :lol:

But you know what... Sometimes, expectations not met. Shit happens in life. Do you remember six years ago, in season one, when Marshal was broke up for a while with Lily? Three years ago, when Ted was left at the altar and lost his job, and dont forget failing his architecture business?

Nobody expect for such misfortune. But you know what, when it comes to the Trilogy time and visualizing about their three years after, there's always a hope for some good things to happen! Ted, especially, never stop believing that he will met "the one" three years after. Every time. Though as we know, he hasn't until now.

And when he's about to lose hope, there's a good friend to remind, that the good things will come, eventually! At the end of the episode, we saw the three of them in 2015, not alone, with a cute girl, who happens to be Ted's baby girl :)

This is why I love to watch TV! There's so many lesson learned. From this one, is to never stop believing and hoping for the dream to come true. And if you're lucky enough, you'll have a friend who would remind you to keep the faith, just when you're about to lose it :)

So, what's gonna be for you, three years from now?

Me? I'll aready be a mother of a lovely daughther, with my own lovely house, and the CRV in the garage my business gave me, and my mother has got along well with my husband.

A girl can dream, right? And this girl, would make her dream come true. I'll let you know in three years!
